AP PhotoAP PhotoThe Los Angeles Lakers beat the Boston Celtics in Game 7 of the NBA Finals to become world champions.  It was a hard fought battle and was one of the most physical basketball games ever.  The Celtics had the lead for most of the game, but the Lakers fought back and snuck out a nail-biter 83-79.  The Lakers gave the Celtics every opportunity to take the title from them, but the Celtics couldn't close it out.  The Lakers only made 21 shots in the first three quarters, and won with their star, Kobe Bryant, having a horrific shooting night as he went 6-24 from the floor, but still was able to score 23 points.  Bryant and the Lakers got through it, and he got some help from Ron Artest, who scored 20 points, and Pau Gasol who pulled down 18 rebounds.

"This one is by far the sweetest, because it's them,'' Bryant said through SI.com. " This was the hardest one by far. I wanted it so bad, and sometimes when you want it so bad, it slips away from you. My guys picked me up."

This will go down as one of the best series of all-time, yet another face-off between two storied basketball organizations.  Fans have to appreciate a game that goes down to the wire in Game 7.  The Lakers wanted it more down the stretch, and are now the 2010 NBA champions.
