Today was the first day of Rookie Mini-Camp for the Denver Broncos, and all eyes were on first-round draft pick, Tim Tebow. He, like all quarterbacks in the system, was wearing an orange jersey, which had him sticking out even more in Dove Valley this afternoon. According to The Denver Post, there were 32 rookies at the camp, and 47 members of the media, so obviously Tebow is bring some intrigue to Denver.
"I think he's done a good job with it," said Zane Beadles to The Denver Post, the Broncos' second-round draft pick who practiced at both left and right tackle Friday. "He's come in here and you can definitely tell he's a winner and loves football. He's talking to guys and already getting the team to pull together."
The media were only able to watch practice for 15 minutes, but all accounts say that Tebow threw well with his new, more compact, throwing motion. He wasn't able to throw to his rookie receivers, DeMaryius Thomas and Eric Decker, however, because they both are rehabbing foot fractures.
A great first day for Bronco rookies, with two more to go. Tebow-mania continues on.
