In my last blog I said the Denver Broncos were finished with the draft, barring a trade, and they went out and made a trade.  They traded their 5th Round pick in 2011 for this year's #225 and #232 of the seventh round.  With the #225 pick of the seventh round, the Denver Broncos selected California, Cornerback, Syd' Quan Thompson.  Sports Illustrated had him ranked as a fifth round pick, so getting him in the seventh is a great pick for the Broncos.  Thompson will add depth to the secondary with other draft pick Perrish Cox, and both will most likely play a significant role in special teams as they learn the system.

The Broncos are now almost finished with this year's draft, with only pick #232 left in the seventh round.
